Over 160 years of history...

The estate is currently run by François and Sylvie Bourdon. It has been built up gradually over many generations and is today based in the hamlet of Pouilly (in the village of Solutré).

The BOURDON ET FILS Estate was created in the 19th Century by two wine-making families: the Thévenet family in Vergisson and the Bourdon family in Pouilly.

Since 2019, Antoine and Benoit have joined the family business to carry on the tradition and breathe new life into the Estate.

Since 1867, the estate has comprised of two wine-production sites:

• Pouilly (a modern cellar which was built and renovated in 1999).
• Vergisson, a village located 4km from Pouilly between the rocks of Vergisson and Solutré. Here, you can visit the vaulted cellar which was renovated in 1997.
